Biography

Sharon Snuffin, President, graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Home Economics Education. Beginning as a professional chef specializing in small, elegant dinner parties, she has built a blue chip clientele of corporations and private individuals.

Ms. Snuffin serves on the Food Services Advisory Board for the Pierce County Health Department (Chair in 2003-2007), Board Member of The Franciscan Foundation, Vice Chair of the Carol Milgard Breast Center and formerly on the Board of the Convention and Visitors Bureau (Secretary of the Executive Board, 2003-2004) and as a
Board Member for the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce. She is a long time member of Catersource and has taught classes for the Catersource National Conference for eight years. Snuffin's Catering was a finalist for the CATIE Award for Best New Appetizer for The International Caterers Association.

Sharon was co-chair of the St. Anthony Hospital Capital Campaign from 2007-2009. St. Anthony Hospital celebrated it's one year anniversary in Gig Harbor and serves the Gig Harbor Peninsula and Kitsap County areas.

Snuffin’s Catering was chosen 1991 Small Business of the Year by the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce and was recognized as an Outstanding Small Business by SCORE (Service Core of Retired Executives).
